    Good for him!
Well, this should serve as a lesson to wanna-bes. No one is above the law. Think before you steal!

Not to say that he is guilty or not. The matter would be in court this morning. Lets hope that justice prevails.

As always I pray that all past present and future looters of the Nigerian wealth are brought to books and served their just desserts if proven guilty. There are too many still to arrest. Some for now are hiding under diplomatic immunity but they will not last. From the “Oga patapata” to the tail, Oh Lord arrest and sentence them and let their life after be riddled with guilt for all the innocent Nigerians that have died, are dying, will still die, for all those suffering, and for all those who have had their educational future stemmed due to lack of funds.

Amen to your prayers OmoTaylor. Yes, Ibori deserves to be arrested and many others as well. Justice should be swift and free of any manipulation, this is the next challenge. Mr. Ibori needs to serve some jail time.

Human greed, corrupt practices and moral decadence in some know no limitations. The following excerpts curtesy of odili.net explains my discomfort and anguish and to think Nigerian poor masses are dying in thousands daily for being poor….

    “Court remands Ibori in custody
    Accused of N9 billion loot
Agency alleges $15m bribe by ex-gov
    Says he is two-time ex-convict in UK…”

This summation gives me a bit of comfort and I pray again that all thieves in Nigeria are brought to books.

“Farouk further stressed that “this is how all corrupt governors should be made to face justice and account for illegally acquired money when they were in office.”
