What it looks like to me is “Africans” (or blacks) from America simply importing the capitalism imposed on them by their overseers onto the African continent. They are doing what Socalled white Europeans, Koreans, Chinese, Arabs, Rich Latinos, Jews, have done to them in America. If they are not helping in the redistribution of wealth to all the TRUE African (BLACK) peoples then they are NOT doing the righteous thing!
A-Shay that !

Life is not fair nor is any economic system that has been created by civilization.

Life is not fair nor is any economic system that has been created by civilization.
Your reply has got to be the most inane, spoken-like-a-true boule N#$#% response I have ever read! Life CAN be fair… but for dumb-A, capitalist brown nosers like yourself and the elitist they serve. Your comment also shows a lack of scholarship. If you took a month to read some African liberation literature or history NOT written by Europeans, you’d discover an entirely different world of REAL facts when it comes to such terms as civilization and economies.
Shame on you and shame on those “African-Americans” who are NOT giving back to their own!
February 12, 2009 at 2:09 pm
I just would like to know how I can get in touch with those African Americans living over in South Africa. I would like to visit and maybe consider moving over to do business.
February 12, 2009 at 4:47 pm
As a healthcare provider, nurse, I would like to know how to get in contact with someone in regards to setting up a home health care business.

You forgot to mention what African people did to us, we Africans living Americans! You speak of Europeans, Koreans, Chinese, Arabs, Rich Latinos, and Jews as our overseers. How dare you forget that we, your brothers and sisters, are in America because of the greed. I’m not sure of the origin of your history, but you need to get it right! We are not here in America because one morning we woke and said, “Hum, let’s try slavery on for size…off to America it is!” I have never the time nor inclination to revisit this right now. You are not approved, so go study. But for the record, you could start with Egypt or Benin.
February 16, 2009 at 9:42 am
“Not Approved…” I don’t exist for your approval or disapproval. You continue on with your lack of “time”…and when you find time… try your own advice on for size… might I recommend Dr. Ivan Van Sertima, Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan for starters.
A-shay That!
February 17, 2009 at 10:27 am
Relax, and try reading below the surface of my post. If I am correct, this is just a forum to share ideas.
Thanks for your suggestion of Dr. Ivan Van Sertima – I will look into his work. I am aware of Dr. Yosef Ben-Jochannan; one of my former professors, Dr. Zadia Ife, is a student of his expertise so I do not arrive at my thinking or beliefs alone. I am working on my Ph.D with a focus on racial diversity, and my research suggests that what we now know as the “transatlantic slave” institution was first engaged by the Dahomey African Kings in the Republic of Benin, West Africa. But here’s my point: it was my (your?) own people who first sold and traded us into slavery on these American shores…that’s right, traded for firearms, payment of taxes, fabric/cloth, jewelry, and liquor (deep breath…sigh!).
I am well aware that you don’t exist for my approval or disapproval, and that was not the intent of my statement. But rather, for your God or whatever you believe in or serve. If the former has no application, my apologies. If it does, then study to show yourself approved unto your God, so that you might be able to deconstruct and discern what appears to be truth in order to know absolute truth. Selah.

@HALIFA,
Instead of trying to judge and degrade American Blacks that are trying to do the best they can in S. Africa, thus helping all of S. Africa, why don’t YOU start a business with YOUR money and then you can give all the proceeds back to the people?
No? You’d rather place blame and b*Tch and moan instead of do anything positive. You’d fit right in with the “capitalist overseer” mentality of the rest of the world. “TRUE Africans”? You can just replace “Africans” with “Americans”, or “Whites”, or “Christians”, whatever team xenophobic peoples have used throughout the years to excuse their prejudice and hatred…
February 21, 2009 at 8:52 am
HERE WE GO AGAIN! African-Americans fight and kill each other every day endlessly…Africans fight and kill each other ever day endlessly….and we still fighting amongst the so called educated, but yet still uneducated. Coups and ploys were placed in both countries we still falling for it. You MFs are amazing. You so called educated negros still missed the point of the struggle. No other race fights amongst themselves more than we do on both continents..This is where the N-word comes into play on both continents. Clearly Africa needs infrastructure to compete in the 20th Century and thats gone already. African Americans that have money and move to Africa had the same attitudes in the USA. Its all about them, but hey, as a people we do more pushing down then pulling up historically. what i want to know is when all the smart dummies are going to put their heads together to form a powerhouse like everybody else.Stupid!

Actually…mister … you are way off, for I am working with a group of like-minded sistahs and brothas who are putting our resources together to help make changes on all fronts of this diaspora. What ARE YOU DOING? Hmmm…so yes, I stand firm in my charge against those who come to South Africa with a colonist’s mindset, and that’s NOT BLAME…that’s a fact my dear!
As for as “deconstruction” of your words, they couldn’t be farther from the actual truth. You seem to have fallen for the same lame lies used by so-called Euro-scholars and their boule alumni!
You can deconstruct in all of your Derrida or Saussure epistemology all ya want, the fact remains that colonialism and imperialism as dispensed by so-called Europeans on the populations of Africans the world over did 1000 times more harm than any little Benin King could ever have done!
Regardless of this history, the fact remains that we must not hinder our own rise nor participate in the same status-quo oriented system which only serves to impoverish and subjugate Africans (of all nations).

Halifa, your response to every comment is so mean, angry, and disheartening. Why aren’t you capable of engaging meaningful dialogue? I came to this forum to learn, have enlightening discussions, and acquire feedback and information on visiting Africa. I am not disuaded, but your comments are not helpful or informational. I’m cancelling my subscription to this site, so don’t bother responding, but in the meantime, you should indulge in some reflective thinking about what you think you know.

@TY
Talk of a defeatist attitude. What has this site got to do with the comment and mindset and opinion of an individual. Isnt that taking it too far?
I am not in support of anyone but do learn from all angles and all sides of an argument and hence will never take offence at any except if obnoxious or bothers on the personal. So TY, you may want to rethink for I believe this is Imnakoya’s site and Halifa is just one of many commentators. Peace.
March 2, 2009 at 11:46 am
wow…halifa, chill for a minute…. i just surfed onto this site while researching south africa. You seem so angry and useless to any real progress between any collective move bridging the gap between aficans on the continent AND the diaspora. I have noticed that SA’s seem to have major issue with regard to African Americans with exception of the zulus. All i can say is kiss our ass until you get you self righteous mind right.
the other “hood” in my same town has the same issue, the other coast in my country has the same issue, the other countries in the western hemisphere has the same issue, and now i know that S.Africans on the continent has the same issue….big deal. were still coming. were becoming global and we can build together or we can be on some gangsta shit till we burn out all the bs keeping us from coming together which is the inevitable end.
being barely 15 years off of mastas teat would put your experience closest to carribean and american africans. we could build something beautiful. get you mind out of your a@# and dead the psuedo intellectual venemous insecure babble…
April 26, 2009 at 2:25 am
To “J the Barber” or is that “TY”…and to anyone else who chooses to show your negropean colors by accusing me of being “angry”: I say get a clue! Your name calling and use of near-expletives shows where your “head” is at.
This is a website where all with intelligent commentary can comment, thanks to the blog’s owner. By the way have you visited Azania (South Africa)? Have you talked to everyday people? I have for over a year while staying with families, living in hostels and at least getting some idea of what people there think/feel. I also observed and what I have pointed out is real as the nose on your face. Post-colonialism and post-apartheid are as thick as the Umzinto bush.
What I call for is a mass re-education of all the Africans around the planet so that we can yes, interact together to build, not destroy and definitely not to participate in our own destruction by becoming negropeans!

Wow! we have alot to work on. Look at this black on black verbal violeance!….We are all the same people, we are all hurting! from either being displaced because of slavery or being colonialize. We all suffered, but Halifa is right, if we Africans from america are going home to Africa to get rich and fratinaze with whites, arabs, and people from india. Then we are no different than our racist white fathers. The goal should be to go home and build withour brothers and sisters so we can take over our counrty. And drive the white, arab, chinese, and indians into the sea. African americans don’t front like you don’t know, all of us come from the ghetto! so you know what’s it’s like to be poor. We need to help our brothers and sisters.
May 9, 2009 at 11:25 pm
Why are African Americans not making West African countries their home? Whats the issue between them and West Africa, why are they steering away from West Africa. If African Americans knew anything about African culture, bloodlines, tribes, etc, they’d know that we have no connection with with them and would make home the region from which their forefathers came.
Why this obssession with South Africa, a country that is far away from where they came from. These are arrogant bastards who should never be given a chance, South Africans would be fools to believe in the false sincerity of African Americans.
These are not Africans but Americans in Africa. The hypocrisy of an African Americans is nauseating. No slave was taken from South Africa so stop imposing yourselves on us. Why are you saying away from West Africa? Go to Nigeria you are way too arrogant but will get what coming to you sooner than later if you think you are going to flood our country with your crap.

“You forgot to mention what African people did to us, we Africans living Americans!” By Ty Kelley
February 16, 2009 at 9:42 am
You are talking shit, typical African American shit, South Africans did nothing to you or your forefathers, we did not have (outgoing) slavery in SA so stop talking bullshit and ignoring our forefathers’ efforts to fend off would be slave traders. The reason you have vomitted that kind of billshit is the stupid notion held by African Americans that Africa is a counrty.
South Africans owe you nothing, we do not know you and are not interested, our forefathers were not slaves and they did not enslave or sell anybody, go back to school, get proper education before you expose your typical African American attitude and ignorance.
Many Africans would agree you are fake Africans, stop fooling yourselves you are not Africans, that is why you have been rejected in many African countries. GO TO WEST AFRICA WE DON’T NEED YOU IN SOUTH AFRICA, YOU’D CONNECT WITH WEST AFRICANS, something that is not happening with South Africans because you are not our people, you are not in our bloodline, we have nothing to do with you.
Also, why must we be forced to connect with descendants of people who were sold most probaly for a reason. I want nothing to do with an African American, they came to SA with a hostile and offensive attitude and stamped on many toes as if we owe them an apology for slavery. For that I will never forgive them. My forefathers fought hard for us to be here today and we have fools coming here to trivialise that.
BLOODY CURSED CHILDREN OF THE DEVIL are coming here to spit on us and to spit on our heritage.
A Nigerian said slavery had to happen and that disobedience is the reason it did, looking at your behaviour I want to agree…!
South Africans and Africans in general must be careful, these people want land more than anything, they are not interested in you or the development of Africa, not that I want them to. Their language is that of religion (fake churches to collect money and nothing else) and charity. African Americans are not investors, they are looking for easy life and a way of working their way to getting land they can have as their country. THEY ARE NOT GETTING THAT IN SOUTH AFRICA.
Some are working for the CIA and are planted in Africa because of their skin colour.
African Americans are hypocrites, they are insicere, they look down upon Africans, they do not like Africans and I’m glad they don’t because I don’t like them either, they must stop pretending and go back to where they are suppose to be, that is, USA. They must not come here to bother Africans, more so South Africans because they do not originate from South Africa.
May 17, 2009 at 10:55 am
As an African of American nationality, dont feel my South African comrades, its the same way in the USA. Oprah Winfreys, Harpo studios are ran by whites. The entire so called rich black class in America has nothing to do with the black masses and infact the bulk of the blacks in the USA simply give them money away back to the whites…
In America the black dollar doesnt bounce at all. The bulk of the blacks who work for white corporations and white sports team in the USA are more white minded than white people are, instead of going to South Africa and looking to build a black Empire like Marcus Garvey told us to, where the African race could be men, they want to copy cat whites. Not all of us African Americans think like that…
I plan to move to Ghana or South African I believe in black business empowerment no matter the nationality of the african…
Look at it like this.. Africa is the richest continent in oil, diamonds and minerals, but how many Africans you see on the forbes riches list…
The mentality of the African American doing business is to ape white people, and our black politicians dont care about the large unemploment rate of blacks nationally of 35%.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqdVGR3uQqY
To all Africans no matter your nationality, click this video, we need to take Dr Claud Anderson Powernomics plan Globally so black children can begin to think they can make millions and billions without the white man over there shoulder….
June 1, 2009 at 7:48 pm
Well, I am an African American, and I know, no South African enslaved my people, infact I am a diciple of Steve Biko Bantus, BCM movement. As an African of American nationality, you better watch phony African Americans because 40% of us are white wannabes. You should come to the USA and see how we treat each other and how much we side with the white man. The African of American nationality have a few true race patriots and true Africans who love their people and would hire first their own kind…..
Not all Africans who came to the New World were sold into slavery, and 2nd of all, Servatitude in West Africa was nothing like chattel slavery..
Allot of these ignorant African Americans on this board are just doing the white mans work in trying to divide Africans because they are loyal to their white masters in the USA, I have to deal with them enough here in the USA untill it makes me sick. And many native Africans sell each other out for white folks as Thabo Mbeki has said as well…..
African is the natural home of all black people, and those who want to be lazy and dependant on the white mans salaries should stay out of Africa. If you dont want to build up Africa for the TRUE AFRICANS, the black Africans stay here in the USA, vote Democrat, watch sports and work for the government of some white coporations. I plan on moving ot Africa, I hope you dont bring that uncle tom crap overthere.. I am not worried anyways, one great thing about being black I can blind in with Africans and act like I dont know you self hating sambos… LOL

hi, this is my first time on this site and the black- on black hate is crazy. It’s no wonder we’ve been dominated by Europeans for centuries. Where do i begin first i’m no expert on Africans nor African Americans for that matter. But i do have an opinion, i think american blacks, of which i hail feel some sort of kinship with south africans ” I mean other than the Obvious of course” because the regime of apartheid and the Jim Crow Laws of the american south.I read the comments left by Jew and i was disheartened, because all my life i have looked upon africa as my mother and fatherland. And to hear the hatred that someone has for me because of the few that he has met is disturbing and eerily reminiscent of the european attitudes to all blacks of the disaspora. As far as him stating no slaves came from south africa i would agree, but if you have done any historic reading
The blacks that reside there now were’nt alsway there nd that is due to colonization and the constant need to move away for security. So we all Originated from the same areas in africa. If this is not the case please enlighthen me. But i just wanna say we need to get together and put our petty differences behind us.
July 6, 2009 at 9:54 am
Just for any African-American who happens on this site, you should remember that one opinion no matter how crazy it is, is just that – one opinion. Also remember that SA has plenty of white folks so an opinion by a SA is not necessarily an opinion by a black person. Ultimately, like AAs have the Clarence Thomas, so to do Africans. I would not take anything on here personally if I was reading it.

Nigeriamerica – you have no business talking about South Africa and South Africans, you people didn’t even want our people in your shithole durng the dark days of apartheid, we are wondering why your scumbags are in our land. Like a typical parasite, opportunist, housecat, self imposed slaves, you are ini USA living off the descendants of the slaves your slave trading forefathers sold. You should be ashamed of your self.
For your information I AM BLACK AND AM NOT ASHAMED OF WHAT I’VE SAID, I’D SAY IT ANYTIME ANYWHERE. In fact, it was said to African Americans back in 1998.
SA is not home to African Americamns, our forefathers fought hard to fend off any potential for slavery and now we have descendants of West African slaves claiming that our country is their home, NOT IN HELL…!
Slavery is your problem and not ours, take your African American relatives to Nigeria, don’t appease them by encouraging them to settle in our land, whats wrong with the land they originated from? You sold their forefathers and now they are here and you are in a land they don’t want to be in. Why must we be drawn into the whole slavery debacle? We have no history of slavery, we didn’t sell slaves and were not enslaved, our fathers and forefathers fought hard for that.
July 13, 2009 at 10:29 am
Blackman – so are you trying to tell me that blacks South Africans don’t belong in South Africa, hahahahaha, you must be desperate to believe history accroding to colonisers who want to justify their existence on our land. You came from West Africa and we have nothing to do with that region. We did not come from the same place as you.
Your attitude and that of dropping names and attempting to throw apartheid in our faces is the reason African Americans will never be accepted in South Africa. We have no obligation to accept you, you did not originate here, we don’t know you, we don’t know how you got to be in America and have a lot of problems of our own to waste our time finding out.
Don’t waste your time in SA, this is not where you came from and this place will never be home to you.
There are no petty differences, theres history which is not there between South Africans and African Americans and which is not going to be there. We welcomed descendants of slaves we had no business with only to have them spit on our respect, YOU MADE A BIG MISTAKE, YOU DIDN’T KNOW WHO YOU WERE DEALING WITH, typical Nigerians, you are descendants of Nigerians and are just as rude as them, GO TO NIGERIA.
Anyway why are you people so on our case, why not other countries, out of 53 Africans countries why SA? Why not Central and West Africa where you came from? We are not going to enter into discussions with you, we have no business and no blood relations with you, the only thing is your skin colour which means nothing to us, whymust it mean anything. Our priority is our people not you.
To Nigeriamerica – drag your relatives to Nigeria, we have nothing to do with you and them, we don’t understand their arrogance, rowdiness, rudeness, they are just like you, deal with them:

July 13, 2009 at 10:43 am
they should have built their own home in america instead trying to STEAL other people’s wealth..stay in america dont settle in africa build on the foundation that you have laid there.
July 14, 2009 at 11:13 pm
Tiffany – I don’t know what you’re talking about when you say they are stealing wealth but if they are, whose wealth, where and when did they steal it?. The scums who stole wealth in Africa are Europeans, I wouldn’t be too comfortable if I were those guys because Mandela’s so called freedom is not freedom, not until we get our land back, expropriation is on its way. South Africa is not an outpost of Europe, it beats why whites particularly the English seem to think it is. SA is not US, this is not the land of immigrants, we have a lot of work to do to clean up our country of all these foreigners from all six continents.
It is however true that African Americans should build on what they have in the US if they are not going to West and Central Africa, instead of bothering people who have nothing to do with them. South Africans have a lot of problems to waste time and energy dealing with insincere African Americans who should find their home up north. WE DESERVE A BREAK, SPACE AND TIME TO DEAL WITH OUR PROBLEMS, we don’t need African Americans who have issues of their own to come and add to what we already have.
If their long term agenda is to get reparations for slaverty, they are in a wrong place. Also, if they are searching for a country they can take over and make it theirs, they chose a wrong country, we fought and fend off slavery and will fight off any attempt by descendants of slaves to take their issues on our land. One hinted that they want Benin, someone should tell African Americans that Benin is in West Africa.
African Americans are not our problem, we are not responsible for their displacement. They came to SA in 1994 with the attitude of taking over the control of our country, spat on the respect they were given by South Africans and treated our people with contempt. All this happened straight after apartheid, it was not long before they got to learn that THEY MADE A BIGGEST MISTAKE OF THEIR LIVES, WHEN THE DOOR SLAMMED ON THEIR FACES IN 1998 IT SLAMMED FOR GOOD. There is nothing Africans Americans can do to reopen it, we’ve moved on, we never counted on them to help us rebuild our country, we don’t feel we lost anything, they can have Oprah build a million schools, that will not help, they can’t buy us, we are not for sale, we are not cheap and have never been, the fact that we never traded in humans, never sold our people or anybody for that matter to slave traders proves just that.
Their attitude reminded us that we were never related and NEVER will be.
July 15, 2009 at 3:11 pm
Hi, I am a African American college student, I have recently got back from South Africa (I plan on returning as soon as I can afford the ticket and I also plan on traveling to Ghana). I spent several periods in Zonkizizwe, Soweto, the rural areas of Peitermertizberg and Durban, and the city of Johannesburg. I’ve spoken to, lived with, and worked with everyday people. Especially, in Zonkizizwe where we would work M-F til sun down at a children’s center so they could have a somewhat adequate place to be children, or generally be there too help and not impose what we think or our values. I’m not changing the world but hey, I’m only 1 person but I’m trying…It’s even more sad that people here are so judgmental, I guess age doesn’t bring wisdom.
We stand not in the unity of common ancestry but from what has been done to out forefathers and mothers in the past. You guys can can say all you want on this site but if you aren’t actually in the disadvantaged communities finding out what people really need then please just speak yourself
P.S. “Zew” there WERE Blacks sold off to slavery in South Africa, please know your history.
Also by fighting with each other you are doing exactly what the white people want…keep each other down while they just sit back and watch us destroy each other, it’s quite sad to see its not cool that some of you put all African Americans in the same boat either
July 16, 2009 at 5:05 pm
Typical African American, you’re all about charity and the church, all talk and no action, we are not into charity, we are talking job creation here, don’t even think we hold your project in high regard, we’ve seen it many times before, people coming here to make themselves feel good and making no impact, not that we want them to. What we won’t do is to keep quiet when they falsely use our country as their “success” story when there is no success.
Why don’t you take your charity work to the countries you originate from, West and Central Africa need it, we don’t need people to come here and promote dependency. Experience will teach you valuable lessons, your corrupt African American mind doesn’t mean you know it all, why don’t you help the extremely poor African Americans who are hidden in backyards in your communities. Katrina exposed you for what you really are. We don’t want agents of the West coming here to work parallel with our government, we have elected a government and not agents of the West. Why am I even saying that because the government has showed nothing but contempt for NGOs and charity workers and rightfully so. They know the damage your predecessors had caused up north of SA very well.
What I’ve said did not start and will not end on the net, many have come and said it before me way back in 1998. Take your resentment and expectations for reparations to West Africa we have no relations with you. Black South Africans have no history of slavery, slaves were brought here from India, Malaysia and Indonesia, those are the people who were brought and sold (if they were sold to other countries). We have nothing to do with their enslavement if they want answers they must speak to the British.
It disgusts me and many people to see you people fiddling with our history in a desperate effort to find some connection with South Africa and justify your being here, THERE IS NO CONNECTION BETWEEN US, SLAVERY IN GENERAL AND YOU. You come to SA to run away from a white man in the US and to look for easy life here. We need to revise our immigration laws as a matter of urgency. When Oprah told the world that her DNA results informed her that she is a descendant of a Zulu (from South Africa) she was told that either the tests are fake or something went wrong because no black South African was sold to slavery. She went for another test, I believe the results came back pointing her in the direction of Liberia. Go and read your history and shovel your ass to West or Central Africa. You are not going to impose yourselves on us, we don’t know why West Africans rejected and sold you and are not going to carry the responsibility
I don’t care what whites think or say, I am not going to shut up while pretentious, arrogant African Americans who don’t even like Africa and Africans convert my country into some hub for descendants of West African slaves. This is not your home…, this is our country…! You have USA and can have West Africa, this is all we have and want nothing else, we are not going to let you have it.
Benin is nowhere near South Africa, its neighbouring Nigeria, go and fight for it.
July 17, 2009 at 2:59 am
LWFT – If you are searching for descendants of barbaric slave traders you are not going to find them in SA and if what your corrupt AA mind tells you about black SA being sold to slavery had any element of truth, you would have named the countries those people were sold to. I know it came as a shock to many of you to learn that black SA have no history of slavery, you had already told yourselves a lot about our country and how you could control it, your brainwashing media fed you lies about black SA being helpless under apartheid and you thought you’d come here, dominate us and take over control of our country, I will never forgive African Americans for that, so do many people, you have a hidden agenda and are not on anybody’s side.
Slavery is very well documented, go and read and do so widely. Our people were taken to WW1 and they ALL died at sea near France when Mendi (their vessel) collided with one from Argentina, they were not taken to slavery. The year was 1917 and there were +-600 of them, that was years after slavery had been abolished.
Cut the crap, your false attachment to our country because of its modern lifestyle is not going to help you, it is your unruly behaviour which has made it impossible for you to integrate in the US and now you want to bring your problems to us.
You have issues with everybody in and outside of the US, you think every African owes you something, go elsewhere we have better things and serious problems to deal with and don’t have time for your nonsense and don’t need your help.
July 17, 2009 at 3:21 am
Zew, that’s not what i was saying at all, you have have every reason to be in SA. That was just something i read in the book destruction of black civilization, which said we all originated in the Upper Nile area and with the onslaught of europeans, arabs etc, we over the centuries maybe even a milenia we were ” meaning black people” if i can call myself that in your eyes, were constantly on the move.I love all black people whether their in SA, USA , Sierra Leone, Haiti, Brazil, wherever we are in the diaspora. I’m sure there were opportunistic AA who came their trying to take adavantage of the situation, but you can condemn the entire population of us on the acts of few. I’m sure not every B-M in SA is of the highest moral standards. Personally i know my ancestors more than likely came from Sierra Leone being that i am from the carolina’s in the usa.I don’t even know much about SA except for what i read in Nelson mandela’s auto, but it sounded a lot like jim crow, whites only restaurants, buses, police dogs, hoses, lynchings, the only difference is you were on your native soil, and i’m not comparing struggles becasue they were both at the hands of the same opressor, all im saying is we’ve both had hardships and maybe open dialogue and not contempt toward one another could lead to better things or maybe not.Maybe you’re just conditioned to hate, an affliction i no longer share. anyway thanks for your time.
July 19, 2009 at 12:15 pm
you are right, we definitely have problems here in america. I agree these should be addressed Katrina was an ugly reminder to most americans how this country really feels about the blackman.even if we don’t have any ancestral linkage to SA or S. africans, our struggle alone links us together as well all the black people on this planet.I personally don’t think i’m better than any s.african or any other black man for that matter. I also agree that Oprah should be building schools in rural Mississppi wher she’s from or on the south side of chicago where black people live in sub standard conditions. But that’s her money if she wants to spend it on people who consider themselves better than her and who dose’nt want her money in the first place then that’s her and her misguided loyalties. But maybe she suffers from the same self hate that you do Zew, because in hating african americans you hate yourself, cause although we don’t share dna if we were both in a car In NYC, Montgomery Al, or johannesburg SA and we get pulled over we’re all N’s to them or K’s. I know the 60′s in SA i would have subjected to the same things my mother and father went through in the South Eastern US, or do you dispute that as well?
July 19, 2009 at 12:53 pm
black americans ASSUME alot of things south africans cant even relate to other africans so what makes you think that they would be tolerant of people who are VERY diffrent from them. having a similar history or even skin color it does’nt mean that we are the same kind of people.that is part of the reason why slavery was unsuccessful in south africa you cant go to every part of the world and think that its home and build schools in the name of charity because you dont know how it will be percieved by the people ….. your desire to assimilate with every racial group that you come across has only brought you rejection not just from whites but from africans as well… this is the diffrence between african americans and south africans we are self assured with our identity we dont need to search for ANYTHING in every corner of the world.
July 19, 2009 at 3:50 pm
Kimberly,
Well said
African Americans should put their energy in building relations with the countries they originate from, if they are not going to do that they should integrate and build relations with other Americans and move on with their lives. Their refusal or failure of African Americans to integrate in the US speaks volumes about their potential to cause problems and conflict where they settle. African Americans who came back to the continent and settled in the US colony of Liberia never integrated with Liberians instead they oppressed them. They were terribly misinformed about South Africans if they thought they’d come here and do the same thing.

Blackman,
“Zew, because in hating african americans you hate yourself, cause although we don’t share dna if we were both in a car In NYC, Montgomery Al, or johannesburg SA and we get pulled over we’re all N’s to them or K’s. I know the 60’s in SA i would have subjected to the same things my mother and father went through in the South Eastern US, or do you dispute that as well?”
That’s where you are wrong, VERY WRONG, having and wanting nothing to do with hateful African Americans who hate everybody doesn’t mean I hate myself, how can that be when I’m not you and you not me, to me you are no different from white Americans, Natives and Hispanics, you’re all Americans and in fact, from what we’ve heard African Americans have the worst attitude towards Africans.
My mother and father might have gone through what yours went through but I am not going through what you are going through. I’ve never been pulled over by a white cop for being black, NEVER, they’ve pulled me over for speeding but not because I’m black, and the black cops who’ve pulled me over didn’t do so to prove a point or get a promotion. Using and abusing our history does not make any difference. Unlike you we have moved on with our lives and like any other nation are battling to take our country to the next level, that’s our No.1 priority. Relations with AAs is not on the list of our priorities.
This is not the 60s, the year is 2009, let me take this opportunity to welcome you to the 21st Century.
Why are hateful African Americans surprised that others can hate just as much? I conditioned myself to hate those who hate us and am not apologetic or ashamed about that, I hate people who hate us South Africans and I’m not the only one with that attitude, we hate people who hate us, we know who they are and don’t care to ask why, we simply hate them back.
What’s the point of taking DNA tests if and when you are going to use them to build relations with the countries of our origin, to me the whole thing is a fuss and smacks of hypocricy.
If you choose to take the honest truth as hate thats your problem.
July 21, 2009 at 4:10 am
to all the Africans in here please be very careful some of these comments could be from european whites, writing as if they are Africans, coin tel pro is still in affect. but if the people that are writing are African well then i’ll approach it like this….. have you told all the european white colonizers to leave? have you cursed the sight of them for what they have done to our people? the shooting of those brave God like African children that stood up like soliders and told the evil european whites we will not accept africaans as our language? you will not rob us of our language like you did our brothers and sisters who we’re takin by brute force and exile form our country? do hate! them for taking 80 percent of the land in southren Africa and sending the men hundreds if not thousands of miles away from their family’s to work for the least minimal pay… and in doing this breaking up the family’s… the father being gone months and months at a time? i don’t think you do because you’re a coward. don’t listen to them thousands if not millions of South Africans want and would love for us to come SA. The white’s don’t want us to come because they don’t want us to connect, but rather they like it ir not we are comming…. some of us are already there.

July 21, 2009 at 3:31 pm
Fake Zuluking – you talk as if you know anything about us, who the hell are you to talk about SA, who are you!?.
What do you know about whites when you service their wives while they watch, cheap demons. White SA are your masters…, shut up. You’ll never say that in front of South Africans, you shut up in the presence of South Africans.
South Africans don’t talk about Nigeria shut up about our country. Do you think we have forgotten than you didn’t want our people in your country during the dark days of apartheid, we want nothing to do with you, don’t use us to suck up to African Americans. Just read what you’ve written to see the typical inferiority and stupidity of a Nigerian.
Nigerian demons dropping the name of God in every sentence because they cannot reason. Your locked tongues and your distinct way are talking is a sign that you are children of satan, no one speaks like you in the whole world. You are the last person to talk since you are nothing but a white man’s sex slave in SA, Europe and other countries. Chinese are killing you in their country, so are Brazilians. You are just another lot that keeps imposes itself on us, we want nothing to do with you, no South African wants to live in Nigeria, those who are there are expatriates working for South African and other companies and are paid a fortune to be in that hellhole. African Americans got their bad genes from Nigerians, I want to believe that if they could rid themselves of it they would. Who can blame them.
Don’t talk about Europeans they are your masters, inferior scumbags. African Americans don’t even mention Nigeria when they talk of visiting or building relations with Africa, its not hard to see why, who wants to have anything to do with destructive demons.
The cheap ass you eat for breakfast and dinner doesn’t mean you belong here, your children will always be outcasts, they have no place under the SA sun. It beats me why Nigerians think South Africans have anything to do with them. Even the relations between the two governments are lukewarm to cold, the reason is the uselessness, shortsightedness, stupidity, inferiority, shallowness and the destructive nature of Nigerians. We’ve moved on with progressive nations and are not looking back at Nigeria. Nigeria is an inhabitable hellhole that is why you are spewing crap from the comfort of my country, ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS…!
Instead of building relations with you some African Americans are reaching out to North Africans, Somalis and Ethiopeans, not sure if that has anything to do with the looks of those people because AAs are into light skin. The point is that African Americans seem to want nothing to do with West and Central Africa, the regions that are their actual homes and where their ancestors are buried. You should be wondering why. Some were shocked to hear that SA has NO history of slavery, they must have thought they originated from here. Our forefathers did NOT sell their blood to slavery, not even that of their enemies.
If hell is not in Nigeria then there is no such a thing called satan and hell. Big mouth loud Nigerian go home…! CRIMINAL…scumbag, I don’t want to say much except that no one can guarantee your safety here. West Africa…mmhhhmmmmm…subhumans who couldn’t understand why slavery was abolished BY EUROPEANS. Nigerians are demons who’re heavily involved in human trafficking, trafficking their women and children to servitude and prostitution in the US and Europe.
July 22, 2009 at 3:22 am
Nigerian calling himself Zuluking.
Who the hell are these Nigerians to comment on anything South African, who are you? Take your crap outside of these threads and see what happens. We are sick of you too imposing yourselves on us. The net is closing on you, what must be done for you to see we don’t want you in our country, you talk about South African land, you know nothing about us, we don’t want to know anything about you, you are not a spokesperson for South Africans, we don’t need you, you don’t belong here and never will.
You have no claim in South Africa and no business being here, you have no history in South Africa, you are not wanted in South Africa, we are not going to kick whites out to make space for you because you are nobodies who have nothing to offer except your genitalia which you offer to whites both men and women. HOW CHEAP…!
Each year thousands of West Africans including Nigerians die at sea trying to reach Europe and you dare talk cheap politics about Europe and Europeans when you are known for licking white asses, who the hell are you to even speak on the politics of race when you open wide to whites all over the world.
Spaniards must kill you, you are useless. Your people are working the streets of Europe and all you can do is sit behind your screen and condemn Europeans when they feed your people with their taxes, it is not uncommon for nobodies to think something of themselves when they manage to put food on the table from the proceeds of prostitution and drug trafficking. We taught you to use a toilet paper and now you think you can speak for us, SHUT YOUR BIG NIGERIAN STINKING MOUTH UP…!
Its easy to talk shit from the comfort of a foreign country, get out of my country and go and spew shit from your inhabitable shithole, Nigeria. The African Americans you are sucking up don’t want any association with you, if that wasn’t true they wouldn’t be imposing themselves on people who have nothing to do with them.
July 22, 2009 at 3:38 am
Greetings of peace to my family all over the world. We are sisters and brothers whether dark as coal or brown as clay.
Our roots and our connections run deep.
I will never allow the poison of the enemy infiltrate my mind regardless from whence that poison originates be that person socalled black or a pale recessive. Yes, there is co-in-telpro on every level of living. Yes even on a blog the mind games to divide and conquer are at work. The point of this post was to show how Africans in America (note NOT African-Americans) feel a sense of freedom and success in South Africa.
Regardless of where our ancestors originated on the continent, one thing a true conscious soul realizes–and I am a conscious soul–is that this entire planet was once “Africa”, not just one continent.
Unity is what will happen with all Africans the world over less we lose even the continent of Africa.
History says that the Roman empire stretched across much of Europe, not only Italy. Today Rome is just a city. If we continue to allow our minds and hearts to be poisoned, none of us will even have the continent of Africa to call home for it will become the dwelling of invaders and none of us will have a home anywhere on the planet. You think the diaspora is horrendous, try genocide on for size. No, we won’t let it come to that as long as we know that we must have cultural privacy, cultural respect and self respect. Know that we are always watched for none of these pale recessive invaders wants us empowered, and they will use every trick in/out of the book, including using mindless blacks as tools for their cause.
I leave you with the words: Peace, Unity, Wisdom and Courage for every conscious African on this planet!
July 22, 2009 at 5:28 am
To Zew: What has Nigeria got to do with this? Just enjoy bashing Nigeria…?
July 22, 2009 at 9:41 am
Johnson,
Ask the Nigerians who are squatting in my country who seem to think they are qualified to speak for South Africans.
July 22, 2009 at 10:50 am
I see that people had gotten used to talking about South Africa as if this is a vacant piece of land that can and should be occupied by anybody, anytime. I’m not concerned about the Roman Empire, Africa is a continent and not a country, no one is going to change that to suit his needs without the consent of African countries. Those that want to open their borders to form the United States of Africa are free to do so, but they must not think they can impose on those that don’t want to give up their sovereignty. The absence of black SA in blogs doesn’t mean people can discuss and conclude about our country. Theres been a lot of debate going on about our home without any input from us.
———————————————
Johnson,
Nigerians have no right to use my country to suck up to African Americans, if Nigerians want to help African Americans to find homes in Africa, they should invite them to Nigeria and not to SA. It is Nigerians who are misleading everybody on these blogs and telling the diaspora that they can come to Africa and claim anything, which is not true.
Nigerians have no right to comment on the internal affairs of South Africa, and make claims that the demonic god Nigerians worship has told him that foreigners must come to MY country, and tell those he is sucking up to that I’m a European and do so from MY country, a country MY people died for while theirs were selling their own blood to slavery and now trafficking them to prostitution and servitude in the US and EU. Nigerians will learn to shut up when a case doesn’t concern them.
No South African talks about the internal affairs of Nigeria i.e. the ongoing massacre of the Igbos in Nigeria, what business do Nigerians have talking about SA?. (Some) Africans are quick to put their cold noses on SA’s internal affairs and play the cheap racial politics when they work as sex slaves selling themselves to white SA to put food on their tables.
July 22, 2009 at 11:15 am
The absence of black South Africans in blogs doesn’t mean we are dead and cannot state our case and answer for ourselves, if you want to talk to us take all this outside of the internet and deal with us face to face. Call us to a mass meeting we’ll be there. South Africa is not a subject that is going to be discussed in blogs without a word from South Africans, and have people getting shocked when South Africans come in to state their case without fear or favour.
July 22, 2009 at 11:25 am
To Zew:
Your statement, and I quote “Nigerians have no right to use my country to suck up to African Americans, if Nigerians want to help African Americans to find homes in Africa, they should invite them to Nigeria and not to SA. It is Nigerians who are misleading everybody on these blogs and telling the diaspora that they can come to Africa and claim anything, which is not true…, reflects some warped thoughts, to put it very lightly! How you came to this conclusion is frightening.
Besides, it appears you are most unfamiliar with the new media of today’s world. May be you need to step out of your shell a little bit more, for some air and light, and also appreciate how the world has shrunk into a global village now accessible by a click of the mouse!
Common Zew, you know better…it’s isn’t about Nigerian conspiracy, very far from it!
July 22, 2009 at 11:50 am
Johnson,
Since you don’t know me I don’t think you are qualified to advise me on anything, let alone telling me about how the world has changed and what not. Whether or not you have a conspiracy is none of my business. Nigeria conspired against South Africa and showed enmity the day you refused our people entry into your country during the dark days of apartheid. Don’t even think we expect something from you and tell your brothers to refrain from commenting about South Africa. Its not as if we have nothing to say about Nigeria, we don’t talk about Nigeria because you are not worth our time. No wonder Zimbabweans showed you where to get off, you need to be taught some lessons about respect and the lines you cannot cross.
Deal with the consequences of slavery and don’t drag us into that.
Today, the descendants of slave traders are at the mercy and living off the blood and sweat of the descendants of slaves, haha, tables have turned. Like your brothers who are in SA relishing the comfort and freedom our people sweat and died for, Nigerians and other descendants of slave traders think freedom comes cheap and that they can enjoy it without lifting a finger.
July 23, 2009 at 2:20 am
Johnson,
I appreciate the world but make a point of cutting Nigeria out of the picture. You need to go back to your hellhole and put it in order and stop behaving like a typical self imposed slaved and housecat by relishing comfort that was created by others. Go and create comfort in Nigeria. It beats me why Nigerians think they have lessons for others when they don’t know what to do with their country.
July 23, 2009 at 2:25 am
All Africans the world over have a duty to rebuild Africa. we Africans from america don’t need consent from anyone to tell us if we can come home to South Africa, Nigeria or any other place in Africa that we decide to move to. that’s our country to. we have blood rights to Africa, you should get use to it because we are coming home, it may have taken awhile but we are coming. again i’m only speaking to Africans…. if you’re not African i care less about what you think, we need to rid Africa of the european white, arab, india, colonist and the black faker’s who pawn themselfs off as one of us, we must unite for the sake of our country.
~Zuluking~
July 24, 2009 at 2:03 pm
To Zew:
You frightening me a lot. What’s up with the rage? I pray you don’t suffer a coronary attack on this thread.
I think you will do yourself a great deal of good by staying off, you are becoming incoherent.
July 24, 2009 at 2:09 pm
Zew: I have one last statement to make regarding your outburst to this post. It is obvious you have little knowledge of history, history of your past for that matter.
Go ask your elders, scholars, and those in the know, who stood beside your country in the days of apartheid, who helped paid the bills of your freedom fighters, and helped set you and your brethren free from the shackles of your white supremacists kins. It was Nigeria and Nigerians, the same place and people that have become the subject of your unwarranted anger. Shame on you!
If you can read at all, you ought to know your past and be mindful of your statements. I guess your mama needs to wash out your mouth with vinegar!
July 27, 2009 at 8:30 am
Peace unto the TRUE family.
I have gone over the posts by the infamous “zew” (or is that jew) and realize that this person is doing another attempt at co-intelpro…trying to divide with lies, and typical recessive, beast-nature tactics.
Go away wicked, soulless, hybrid, you have no power here nor elsewhere. We are hip to you ways and also to your secret meetings of afrikanners stockpiling weapons for your supposed reign of terror and future attempt at a coup in Azania. Guess what…the word is out and you will be STOPPED. So take your arrogance, hate, and worm-filled, piss-poor excuse for a human mind back to your neanderthal message boards where you can cry to your cohort in defeat. It was made clear in many words you chose that you are NOT Afrikan (black, negroid…whatever word chosen); basically you are a caucasian trying to cause havoc. I humbly ask the owner of this blog to get your IP address and block your pale ass. Do we go to your aryan nation blogs and try to cause dissent? No! Why because we are not, and I use your own words, “children of satan!” That would be you and your kind.
Get over it, the time is changing. The earth, the sun and the rumbling planets in the heavens are sick and tired of your wicked wicked ways. It’s time to die bitch and stay dead, so we, the true family can pick up the pieces and set this world right again…once and forever!
Death to the spawn of cecil rhodes and the like…now and forever!
A-shay!
July 27, 2009 at 10:09 am
With that said
please family pardon my outrage…now we can get back on point and discuss the main focus: Africans from America in South Africa. I would be willing to provide a link to a resource site that gives info to those who are looking to relocate or work with a host family as well as African-originated volunteer groups. There are many pale-race run volunteer organizations, but I’d rather not work or include them for obvious reasons.
Peace

July 27, 2009 at 10:11 am
There is a lot of hatred on this post. However, it should be noted that years of european hegemony over the african has caused considerable damage amongst her (diaspora). Not withstanding the ever present vestiges of American slavery, neo-colonialism, colonialism, aparthied, etc.., the fact remains that those people of african descent within the diaspora will continue to move (back) to Africa. It matters not what some on this post might say or think; it is simply a matter of right. There is very little stopping an African American from moving to South Africa. If europeans, east indians, asians, arabs, and other indigenous people can make South Africa their home, then it only stands to reason that black Americans can make that move if they so choose.
It is complete ignorance to think that the Afrikaaners just dropped aparthied due to the continued struggle of black South Africa alone. Indeed, black South Africa owes a considerable debt to the diaspora for applying a significant amount of political, economic and social pressure on its governments to isolate South Africa and cause her to “fall on her sword”.
Zew, you really need to stop talking nonsense. Your rants are really doing you a disservice. You may be a very intelligent and learned person, but you are coming off as a pseudo intellectual at best; a hypocrite at worst.
What difference does it make where a person comes from, who their “tribe” is, what their “bloodline” is. We all live in the 21st century; one in which the human condition can be redefined and/or remade. I would never attempt to make excuses for the situation black Americans face in the Western hemisphere. We, like black South Africans, are struggling for economic, social, and political relevance within the nations that we live. Most adult black Americans will never even visit Africa, let alone pick up stakes and move to South Africa. So if your problem stems from the fact that a small percentage of black Americans have chosen to leave the Americas for South Africa, you need not worry. However, the vast majority of black Americans that come to South Africa are very productive and positive minded individuals. These are not people in South Africa looking for a handout. Most if not all are highly skilled, very experienced, and have the benefit of a strong education. In my opinion, they view South Africa as a land of opportunity much like Europeans view the United States. In the U.S., despite the fact that Barack Obama was elected as the 44th President, the color of a man’s skin is still used to discriminate against him if he is nonwhite. The perception is that obstacle, racial prejudice, is minimized in South Africa because of the political power held by the black majority. South Africa has a diverse economy, temperate climate, and is thriving cultural mecca. It is indeed an attractive place to work and live. Not that it doesn’t have a plethora of social, political, economic, and racial problems. But the opportunities far exceed the liabilities.
Many black Americans have made West Africa their home. Indeed, far more have expatriated to West Africa than South Africa. However, the leadership of South Africa has opened her arms to black Americans to become a part of her future. And many are hearing that call. To spend your time on this post casting aspersions, leveling criticisms, espousing baseless arguments, and engaging in jingoism results in a complete waste of energy. Most folks on here were simply looking for honest dialogue about South Africa’s opportunities for black Americans. If we wanted to be hated, all we have to do is look outside our windows, or just look in the mirror for that matter.
July 28, 2009 at 1:41 pm
AMAZING!!! I am an African-American man and one thing I do know. The same fire that’s burning down the African-American community over here everyday is the same fire that’s burning down the African community over there. The funniest thing is…neither continent of Africans see it.
Our warrior mindsets do not know how to shut off for VALUABLE CAUSES. Whites stick together. They come to agreeances. One argument and we do not know how to turn the light switch off.
We all think that we are right when it is not about being RIGHT. Its about compromise for the cause of African and African-American mental infrastructure.
Yes. Africans are right. We bring to Africa what we learned. And yes, African-Americans are right. Africa is the soul of this world not limited to its resources, yet, Africans power over its own resources are dwindling away because they are allowing control from outside worlds come and strip their lands of its valuable resources without doing anything but kill each other off. The same as in the USA. Africans are controlled by the Willie Lynch syndrome and mechanisms that controlled African-Americans in the US but they never left Africa. The sad part is they never heard of Willie Lynch so they don’t even know that they are controlled by it.
So when does all the bickering end? when does all of the fighting between the two end? When both Africans and African-Americans kill Willie Lynch. Whites are winning without ever throwing one rock. AMAZING!!!
July 29, 2009 at 3:37 am
after the end of slavery what have african americans been working towards exactly? your communities are plagued with so many social problems such aids the unbelievable drop out rates and clearly most of you are not content with living life in america since you are migrating to every part of africa or are ending up in american jails. for the past 40 years what has been your agenda and most of the african americans who are succeeding now days they cant trace their roots to american slavery…and that is an undeniable fact. most of the african american college graduates are coming from people who are descendants of african or carribean immigrants. you people seem to celebrate having a culture of failure and also for those “productive” african americans all of their efforts go in towards benefitting the white economic system, since most black people in america are poor and unemployed. so my point is why would africa be accepting of black americans into south africa since academically economically and socially you have FAILED in america. Why would any nation that wishes to progress be welcoming of african americans?
July 29, 2009 at 1:03 pm
That’s ridiculous, i’m a college graduate and a descendant of slaves. So are a hundred other college graduates i know. Have you ever heard of HBCU’S They graduate thousands of descendants of former American Slaves every year. Also the Carribean born college graduates are descendants of former slaves as well. Our accomplishments are too numerous to name, as i’m sure there are brothers in SA that have contributed to the human race also. I’m not going to get into the name calling because there are comments on these aryan sites that similar to yours except it dosen’t differentiate between us. You sound like the opressor questioning what has ANY African ever contributed to the human experience. I know we have contibuted much to all aspects of life on several continents not just america or africa. We have not failed in america, we have by no means achieved all that we can but can you claim that you have reached this goal in SA?
October 4, 2009 at 4:25 pm
To all who have published on this page,
I am a white South African. I believe in the cause that you are following but i just want to understand why this is all about educating Africans to work together. This idea of separating the “Black” people from the “white” people is what sparked the idea of slavery and war between our people. What we/everyone on earth should be concentrating on is, educating everyone to support each other and protect each other. We do not need to separate ourselves as that will cause further conflict between the people of our world. If we cant work together then war will never stop, slavery in all forms will continue, hatred will continue and we will end as people.
Anyways , im not trying to offend anyone, just discouraging narrow mindedness.
October 9, 2009 at 5:15 am
Halifa,
I have all your posts and Heaven help and country, city , town or village that you somehow conquer.. From what i have read , you , yes you are a modern day African Hitler. If anyone should be blocked from this site , it is you. You have no self control and lash out at every comment that does not accept your idea , be them black or white.. I care for my people , and my people are all people.. You are only a disservice to Human kind( that means everyone , this word is the word that should identify to you that we are ALL part of this earth. We are one people) “PEACE”

wow,
thank you to all that has posted their opinions and facts on this blog, i am truly grateful. i really do embrace african culture and spirituality even though i am american black, i like the music especially! the drumming awakens and heals something deep inside of me that is unexplainable… i am grateful to have been introduced to all the african instruments i’ve been exposed to, especially the djembe. i have dreams of at least visiting africa one day, but by reading some of these post, i truly have alot to learn about the people of africa, but i am open minded and willing, and i can only hope that people would look past my light skin and see and feel the sincerity of my spirit. america is where i’m from, yes this is true, but i’ve also lived in asia also and this where i learned that it is not all about america, it is a big beautiful world. i’m not trying to play the role of a self-righteous black american, for me the journey to africa, wherever i may land, is much deeper than going to put a stake in the ground and getting rich…if i wanted to get rich i would stay right here in the united states, where most people are trying to come to, by any means. i respect the sense of nationalism that zew and kimberly feels, i bring no ill-will to your land, all that i bring is an open mind, a sense of adventure, and a calling from the spirit of my ancestors…with that said, i am a human being, i have both my assetts and flaws, dont we all??? ase

Mr. Halifa,
Your commentary is entertaining. Not too far removed from Apartheid and the mere taste of some form of perceived authority exudes xenophobia? South Africa would be a vile wasteland for black South Africans were it not for international sanctions and emphatic pressure to free your lineage from servitude; a monumental feat black South Africa could not endeavor alone.
Your ideology is nothing more than a facade to mask the true challenge of your presumed intellect: how on earth could once-marginalized and inferior American blacks prosper in “your” South Africa?
American blacks have unyielding endurance, adaptability, and do not identify with bloodlines as the deciding factor for whom we are. Relationships are of greater importance. Hence, black Americans managed to rise from obscurity to prominence in niches of the South African business community; something you have trouble digesting do in part to a cultural flaw.
Your government embraces international investment and partnerships to modernize infrastructure, stimulate growth, and capitalize on “capitalism” in today’s South Africa. Visas and residency are readily available to any American meeting the qualifications.
Mr. Halifa, even your government disagrees with your position.
The difference between you and I, being a black American, is I love you and accept you before we ever meet. In fact, I would stand with you so long as the cause was noble. For you, the decision lies within a cursory attribute that’s both dated and counterproductive in the modern world.
Peace Be Upon You Brother.

Zew is Lying Jew no black man hates Africa and African descendents that much..Dont be discouraged by such rhetoric>>AAFFRRIICCAANNSS WORLD WIDE UNITE
December 17, 2009 at 6:39 pm
To the recessive calling me “Hitler”…you and your commentary have no power here just like those made by Zew, Kimberly and the good cop/missionary, fake-azz, non-African Irami. By the way “Irami” you need to read…as I am not a “Mister”. Get it…Got it…Good!
I urge my true African brothers and sisters on the homeland and in the diaspora to take note of the wisdom spoken by myself, Zuluking, Blackman, and Legrande and others who are not buying the b.s. used to confuse us. These are typical tricks used in the real world so why not on a blog.
Let us like I said
in my earlier post discuss with purpose, ignoring
those haters and destroyers who seek to continue
the status quo.
To that pale baty boy who called me hitler…
Make that Queen N’Zinga who is about 2 seconds from burning you and your family out of Azania. I’m sure Africa won’t shed a tear when all of you are gone!
My offer still stands, I’d like to invite conscious Africans (BLACK ONLY) to a forum where we can discuss and also create sound strategies for helping to make bridges as well help one another.

Blessing family of Africans… besides us being the most beautiful! of humans on this earth, a gift no doubt! bestowed upon us by the African creator himself. let us all take a moment and ask ourselfs are we being the best African that we can be? are we being the best of what it means to be an African? measuring that can be tricky if you don’t subcribe to African culture which promotes African centered thinking. being what we we’re before we we’re force to come here is our measuring stick… how did we treat each other in our communitys? how did we settle our differences?.. did we use cheap! crude! language when we needed to settle matters? how did we respond when someone accomplish something great? did we resent him or her with jealousy! and envy? how did we contribute to the success of our communty and nation? how did we view Africa?? how did we love and treat one another as man and women? how did we relate to one another??? how did we parent our children? i don’t think we called them horrible! names when we got angry! at them, there skin color was never used to degrade them and make feel like they had been cursed! because of the color of their skin. do we have clarity of who we are? is Africa and the world a better place with you in it! are you a danger! to the up liftment of our race? these are some of the questions that we can ask ourselfs to measure ourselfs as Afrikans. it is time for Afrikan men to stand up and be what we where born to be. nature, our women and children, and Afrika calls for us to be better than what we have and what we are showing.

African women are beyond amazing, there are no words that can fully describe her.
Her triumphal courage and endurance through slavery, apartheid, and the middle passage
is a testimony to what she is…. H-O-L-Y!, The genocidal assault on her womb that has
taken her creation of kings, and queens, and banished them from there rightful place
that we call home…. AFRICA!!……. but pity her not, her triumphal song is assured she is an
understatement to perfection. As an African man I thank God that she, and only she!
can mother my children, be my best of friends, and with out question be my wife.

I think Zew is a non Black South African who terrified of the fact that African Americans are coming to the continent to replace them. When I say replace them I mean the notion that Blacks could never run the country without White help. That is a lie we have endless numbers of professional Blacks in the US to build a country on the continent if neccessarry.Zew is is trying to cause hatred between Africans, but notice Europeans are always united when dealing with non white people.African Americans are coming so get used to it.
February 25, 2010 at 11:56 pm
What the hell is this? Ifound this site to see how true it is when I heard about African Americans moving to Africa? As I was taught, South Africa was totolly white rasist territory. Today people make it sound like South Africa left the rasist up to the American as that is what they do best. I want to know the true story on A “Black Man” moving to Africa. Shameless to say, my motivation is to elude the states because,”One nation under God had turn for the worse”! Is there a place where an African Amereican can live in peace?
April 20, 2010 at 5:55 pm
Hotep fam
I address this to Travis,
I recently visited S.A. and despite the fact that our family, true Africans are the majority there, the pale recessives, aka socalled whites still maintain a choke hold on the economy, the resources and wealth. They are a nasty bunch and I have witnessed them in action first hand. They are protected by their buffer races of socalled asians (indians) and arabs who own another portion of the wealth, resources. Then you have the deadly, kiss ass boule negroes that help maintain this choke hold. To have that place where we can live in peace, we will have to fight these groups on the spiritual and physical levels. Only then after we have rid the planet of them and our selves of their mindsets will we have that peace on earth you are worthy of…that you have wanted for far too long.
I am ready to make that happen. Are you?
April 24, 2010 at 12:07 pm
P.S.
To Travis though the pinks aka whites and other detrimental MINORITY groups have a choke hold on the homeland, they are by no means a factor when it comes to repatriation. Should you desire to go be prepared to pay exorbitant airfares, get sprayed with pesticides while on the plane (according to WHO-world”health”organization…aka world holocaust organization regulations), and high real estate prices. By the way NEVER purchase from a caucasian if you buy over there. Find yourself a conscious African to purchase from for many reasons, including better price and keeping the money circulating in AFRIKAN hands.
DO NOT LET all of the things you have read deter you from visiting and even moving to ANY Afrikan nation, including south Afrika. WHY? Because the power your soul will receive just to see your own PEOPLE, your own Kin in the MAJORITY does wonders for self esteem, spiritual uplifing, motivation and more. Clean air, land of the GODS, unmatched natural settings…Yes, it is worth it to exodus from AMERIKKKA if you feel u have to, if only for those reasons I mentioned.
I visited twice and each time just being there was recharging, like going back home which we all must do. The fact that they will PUT YOU THRU HELL & high prices just to get there says there is a reason the pale, pink recessives aka socalled whites are trying to keep you away from there. THEY DON’T want us and the soul power we have mixing with the soul power of our brothers and sisters on the continent for they KNOW they have NO power against us WHEN we UNITE!!!!!!!
POWER 2 YOU
April 24, 2010 at 12:17 pm
Man, this is crazy. I know I am late in the game, but I’m with Travis. I just wanted to find out a little bit more about the black American experience in South Africa as I am considering grad school programs there and after an initial search – having no knowledge or pre-conceived notions on SA or (black) South Africans – I come on this board to read the bile and vicious hatred of some towards black Americans. This one person in particular, “Zew,” has a deep seated hatred of black Americans because supposedly we are “hateful” and apparently “dislike Africa and Africans.” As a black American, I must say this is news to me! I had no idea there was such hatred by some Africans toward black Americans. I don’t understand it, and it is really a dissapointment. It seems black Americans cannot find acceptance in America, and to some, have no chance of being accepted in some countries on the African continent – the place we have always considered to me the “motherland.” As a black American, it really makes me feel like we have no place that we can truly call “home” anywhere on earth if we can not even find acceptance with our black “brothers and sisters” on the continent of our ancestors and our blood origins.
We hold no hatred towards you, FYI. I am not sure where you got your information from.
June 24, 2010 at 10:37 am
Wow! I see all your points and it is never too lat for this kind of thing Jade. I don’t have any problem with anyone except when I’m profiled. To most people including our own in America, “You see one Black Man do it, they all do it”! It was once said that this country was founded by religion-Could of fooled me in this day of age! “Obama this! Obama that! Someone need to kill him”, as so the whiteman says! What! Bush get lip while Obama gets a bullet? WTF! CNN’s Black in America didn’t turn me on at all! Don’t be fooled by television folks. That was like the edited version of real being black in america! “Nigger!” Damn! Me and a white man got into it about the use of that word. Ofcourse we are of minding our bee’s wax until he ask, ” Why dose a black man get mad when we say it, but yall say it all the time.” Such an old question and shouldn’t got involved, but I had time on my hands. Well-Most of you know the out come of this synerio. I’m not going to talk down on the white man completely. There are white struggleing like we are, thanks to the white mans ambitions and sometimes for the fact that some of them whites aren’t down with the niggery of the racist! Bottom line, its not all about being racist, but than again, it is a hundred times fold in a long run. All I can say is to the whites and anyone who just hates another person regardless if you hate blacks, whites, or any nationalities…Don’t wait ’til your prime to change your ways and apologize for any wrong doing you inflicted on towards one another. Waiting ’til you’re 70 or 80 years old dosn’t mean nothing when you say your sorry! Quite a few are doing it today and I find it quite unacceptable to be in a death bed after you enjoyed life for many years, then wait ’til the last minute to say you’re sorry to some one. You wasn’t sorry for upto 100 years, so say your’re sorry to God! Trust me, I’m 29 years old and alot of my ways have been changed. Some sins have been repeated while others I think twice on. I’m not saying that we, the black race are angels. We all have ways that needs to be changed! There shouldn’t even have to be a forum like this. To call the black race evil…They better go back in history and on up to today, furthermore, I’ll make it with or without those crossifix burning athiest!
June 24, 2010 at 1:03 pm
Here’s another thing…Jesus was white-Jesus was black! Who gives a flip! The only thinf you need to be concerned with what He has instore for you after you cross the border line from this world to the next! I know I am and fear will be first on my things to do list after I die!
June 24, 2010 at 1:12 pm
Do not believe the hype. Africans from America are VERY VERY welcome home. Do not Believe the LIES. Many people talking nonsense on these comments and many provocateurs who are NOT even African but most likely whites or either sellout negros who are brainwashed and who should ignored anyway. Yes, come back and come home. Yes we have simple minded negros here but they are the minority. Yes, we have hateful racist whites here who still own most of the wealth, but where on the planet is that NOT the case. Together we can end that system. DO NOT let a few idiots and fake-African, or pinks posing as Africans fool you. Do not let high air fares and propaganda from your tv scare you away from moving here, schooling here or even just visiting. Think about it pinks (whites), asians and every other group are coming here in large numbers and nothing is scaring them. Use logic common sense and your heart to find the answers. I am from South Africa but my parents are Nigerian. I was born and raised here. I see the African continent as my home so I can choose to live anywhere, and so can you as this too is your home. Come back home. It is your birthright. Let no pink man or woman or foolish negro tell you otherwise.
July 5, 2010 at 11:52 am
All I can say is , “I cannot wait until I get to SA! I am SO GLAD the “REAL Black” South Africans welcome their African American Brethren, and hearing SA Whites ranting in their vain attempts to keep us away only makes me want to come even MORE.
Newsflash for the ignorant people… Just because we were kidnapped from ALL OVER THE AFRICAN CONTINENT does NOT make us your perpetual property. We are returning HOME. Count on it!

Im South African by birth but American bred ,i find the whites in South Africa to be filled with hate for black people who achieving and speak eloquently .Thedy see that type of a black person as a threat. They try to change my American accent if im applying for a job they say they hate it.I think blacks should stick together and fight these sick colonialists, they even teach their children to hate .They have the audacity to come on this blog and pretend to be black.Anyway i dont identify with South Africa because i didnt grow up here but i love it nevertheless.AfricanAmericans have as much right to come here as anyone else besides the locals meaning the black population loves Black Americans .Dont listen to the white trash that is threatened by African Americans.
October 19, 2010 at 12:24 pm
By saying i dont identify with this country i mean that my life is still in the States ,but i plan to build this country and im starting my business next year and i want to employ the locals .

Greetings Menzi
You are very on point! Real Talk and oh so true. Yes, there are brainwashed Afrikans who do not see the big picture, but they will be addressed when the time comes. For now, the majority of Afrikans (brothers & sisters) are ready to build bridges with their brothers and sisters in the diaspora. TOGETHER we will bring balance back to the world…to our world. So called “whites” aka pinks and any other group that follows in their footsteps can either get with our force or get crushed.
I can vouch for what you say, having spent much time in South Africa. ALL wealthy Afrikans around the globe put your money investments in businesses, schools, land, infrastructure for AFRIKANS ONLY (I mean indigenous BROWN/BLACK ONLY). This is what will be done.

Here to any african anywhere who doesn’t want me and hates me because I was born on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio in a sick racist country were my grandfathers stretching back 4 generations went through hell here in America not consider as a human being, So let me say this to you….. As long as I wear this wonderful black colored skin ….Guess What!… Africa is Mine Baby!… & You are mine, I love you even if you don’t want me to. Why! because I see and Embody the BIG PICTURE … That We MUST! Come Together!
All of us lifted out of Africa by the horrible hand of Slavery must return. The voices of the slaves are echoing down through time now, and the off-spring of those slaves living in Britian, The Islands, The U.S. and South America…We have become feed-up living amoung Europeans/Whites and are finding ourselves more educated yet the race factor is always the problem for whites. They on a Deep level at their Core don’t real want us in their MIX/Life…If the truth be told.
Now that the world has changed with all the non-Blk.or African and non-whites people now flooding American & British/Europes workplaces and getting more opportunities. And white folks buckling down in fear and hiring their own and joining white hate grps. etc.
as you see more and more white men in middle management with Asian, Arab and Hindu-Indian Bosses White folks are Pissed and I don’t have to say who the Asian, Arab and Hindu-Indian are hiring…Yes THEIR OWN KIND…hello! So with all this kind of thing happening and the Global Economy on lock down.
We Meaning All of BLACK AFRICA…Must Pool All of our “Human-Resources”….That means Blk. Minds from all over the Globe! We have looked foolish for far to long ….We all know in our soul that we can do better in caring for each other… YES I SAID IT!!! CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER!! Island blk folks stop hating on AfricanAmericans and British Blk’s and vice versa and Africans stop hating on black’s who are not born in Africa…. and AfricanAmericans stop whatever hating you are doing on Africans or islanders etc.
ALL OF US STOP!! …Enough Already!!!
We look Stupid!!! if you have Black skin …Our diaspora started in Africa, All of Us…. We all have Gifts to bring and the Africans you have and hold our Memory and key’s to our Culture which was completely taken from AfricanAmericans and British Blk’s (and I don’t mean the island blk. living in britian today) I mean the ones who’s grandfather’s father’s father who got to Britian straight off a slave ship. So ya sista & brother on the motherland we want and NEED you to ENRICH the diaspora with our culture.
Let me end by saying right now China is doing deals with african nations for the natural resources Europe is also there for the same reasons (which some are trading for cheap infrastructure building). which I’m not for, I stay pay the African top dollar like they pay Arabs top dollar for there natural resources and let Afriacns build there own bridges freeway etc. Hell there are Africans & AfricanAmerican Civil-Engineers right here in America catching hell on these jobs with white folks over their back threatening to get rid of them on a daily bases.
I’m saying A that African Brain Drain got engineers from Ghana, Kenya, the Congo from all over Africa working in Britian & American basically SLAVES …Yes I Said It!…because You’re building ANOTHER MAN’S HOUSE NOT YOUR OWN!!!! …it not Smart for AfricanAmerican who have worked like Dogs building America …So it’s if you are from Africa it REALLY Un-acceptable because you have LAND and LOT OF IT….And all I’m saying is Aren’t We All Ready! for Africa to take it’s PROPER PLACE ON THE WORLD STAGE!
No we may not see it….. But isn’t it better knowing that when you lay your head down at night after a hard days work… isn’t it a great feeling knowing YOU ARE DOING IT FOR YOUR OWN! We All Know We Are A GREAT PEOPLE…And That KNOW ONE ON THE PLANET LOOKS LIKE US All others bacially have white or close to white skin WE ARE DIFFERENT AND SHOULD BE EXTREMELY PROUD OF THAT FACT, AND LOVE OUR COLOR…LOVE EACH OTHER… THAT’S KEY,
IF WE SEEK LOVE FOR SELF & ONE ANOTHER…. ALL THE EARTHY AND HEAVENLY RICHES WILL FOLLOW….WHY CAN’T WE SEE THAT! Unity baby!
I love my African diaspora because I love myself and IT HURTS ME THAT WE DON’T HAVE OUR SH_T TOGETHER.

How many of you have moved to africa since you first posted on this forum.. I am seeking to find out how many here are “all bark , no bite”. I have no problem with African Americans moving to Africa but there seems to be more fighting amost you then there is unity. If you intend to help Africa , then you need to unite instead of argue and bicker. You will end up never moving forward… If you know anything about South Africa or anywhere in Africa, you will know there is more fighting amongst cultural groups then there is within Racial groups. I live in South Africa and was born here, i know first hand that this country is changing and I will never leave until my fore fathers mistakes have been rectified. I also see more fighting and racism amosts Zulu and Xhosa then i do between white South Africans and Black South Africans. This country is growing and thriving because of this unity between racial groups… I see so much racism in this forum, please don’t bring that SHIT to this country if you dont plan on doing good and right, we have suffered enough racism through the years and dont need more.
March 15, 2011 at 2:31 am
Halifa!!!
Do you know how many White South Africans(“Pinks”) have left this country… I will allow you to research that. There are approx 3 million of White South Africans left and approx 49 million black Africans here. There is little racism left here. We all support one and other and live and work together peacfully. Halifa i read through everything you say and you are a modern day hitler. GOOD LUCK in your conquest to dominate this continent. Let me drop some knowledge, there are millions of Zimbabweans here who legally or ilegally immigrated to SA ,do you know what happened to them. They were attacked , burnt , shot ,stabbed and mutilated all because they were taking jobs and work from the indigenous Africans. I hope you have strong resolve.
March 15, 2011 at 2:47 am
I’m a South African. It is my wish that as many black people as possible both continental and diaspora must come and live here with us. I’m longing for a black empire which lives in peace and prosperity and fears God.
June 23, 2011 at 1:22 am
South Africa is a blessing. 400 years of European colonialism left many bad things-including the terrible legacy of self- hatred as displayed on this post. But it did leave an intact infrastructure that could serve as a basis to grow the most most powerful nation in Africa. However, Blacks across South Africa and the rest of the world must come together on this. No one else will lead South Africa to success as a nation. Whites- Chinese will help as long as it benefits them economically. Africans from all over the world are needed to replace whites who leave white-collar and skilled jobs behind. Africans are needed to buy those business whites are trying to sell. To my South African brothers, why wait for the Arabs, Chinese, to build a place to wash clothes in your community? Get together with goal -minded people and pursue the idea your selves. Africans must stop letting others keep us apart. Salaam.
June 30, 2011 at 12:57 pm
If anyone in South African politics is reading this, please send this to the President of the country. Please legislate an open door, dual-citizenship policy for Blacks in the Americas and Caribbean. This policy will greatly increase our power as Black Africans (I am not referring to Arabs, Caucazoids, or Asians). You must be genetically BLACK only and have diaspora blood ties. Whites who call themselves jews have set up this type of policy in many countries especially israel. We have to make this statement for the world to know that we may have different religions, different political beliefs, different views on cultural norms, but when it comes to BLACKNESS we are ONE and we are NOT to be Fucked with in any way shape or form. Black African First and foremost must be our policy and our practice. Please pass this on. It is urgent that we have such a dual-citizenship policy. Too many non-blacks have gained access to all parts of Africa and live there without problem. It is also easier for non-blacks to travel to all parts of Africa cheaply when compared to what it costs for the average income Black in the diaspora. Travel prices we may not immediately be able to control but we can control who can and cannot be an African citizen.
Htp, Salaam, Shalom, Peace and Black African First

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA I am a white South African and I have been a member of this forum for quite some time now. What i have hoped for was that “you” all were true to your word and were making progress in coming to this country and replenishing it’s wonder and culture to what it should be , without us ‘Pinks’ .. But wowee my friends, you are getting no where and fight more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more and more. Good luck making a noticable difference. I have no issues leaving this Violent nation whose leaders are self involved, greedy, obnoxious, uneducated and own R16 million houses and R6 million cars on a R16 000 salary… SO MAKE MY DAY AND STOP YOUR FU*KING FIGHTING. Selflessness is the first step.. HALIFA YOU ARE A DUMBASS haha.

I feel a sense of pride that Afro-Americans come to my country and find a place in the for themselves…I have a lot of resentment when I see that people like me continually are at the bottom of the social wring in the US,whereas in this country and this continent more multi-millionaires and indeed billionaire have been made in the last 20 year from telecoms to mining, blacks remain shut out of opportunities for self improvement in the US,if blacks can achieve excellence in African why is it in the US so much of our peoples talent is never realized?the US despises black people and its happy when the limits of their achievements is to be found on tv talkshows, concert halls and track fields…africa has its problems however for the black man its the only home where we are welcome and loved
September 15, 2011 at 4:19 am
You all need to stop it! A bunch of Smart-dummies, who do nothing but put each other down. We know the problem, now what’s the solution? Can any of you smart-dummies answer me that? Divide and conquer is one of the oldest war tactics.

Hello,
After reading everyones post my heart is broken, I live in America, my entire life i’ve wanted to learn my african culture. I dont think people of Africa understand how displaced africans in america truly feel.
Unless you have walked in the shoes of a person that has been stripped of their religion, language, and culture It hard to even imagine, what that can do to a person.
As far as displaced americans blaming any part of the transatlantic slave trade on african people, STOP!
all blame goes to the euros. Black people are hated all over the world, yes we are tolerated, but who wants to be tolerated, instead of constantly putting each other down lets start embracing each other, we can teach each other what we’ve learned and build a great BLACK COUNTRY
October 11, 2011 at 3:00 pm
I agree with you Punia. I commented on this one about a year ago. During that time, I learnes that moving to Africa is notnthe solution to my skin color. Indeed there are times I feel cursed of my skin color living in America. I knowI shouldn’t-Ofcourse thats the devil getting in my head. For a lot of us, including whites, we sometime wonder why life is carrying on this way or it could be just me thinking that. I’m just 30 years old and seeing the history of my color angers me, only because its is still like the way it was. The stories I can tell you with my run in with suggestive racism and being in the shadows by force and ‘the way it is’. And if it isn’t the run ins with whites, its being treated just the same by blacks. Its hard to explain. This world is burning! Nothing about life makes any since anymore and as if it did in the beginning for some of us. Searching for a place where we can live a normal life is just a dream where one would ask not to be awakened. We need to focus on whats real. For those of us including I are angry at the way the forld looks at us, free yourselve from that anger. I’m not saying there is no hope, but there is nothing we can do about the white man and the rest of the world. Just alway keep in mind, we are not the one’s who is destroying America with hatred. They hated first and all we’ve done is defended with the hatred towards thier hate, but remember, even whites died for our rights by the hands of thier own and today, you will find some whites who are not a part of a redneck agenda. Bottom line, the devil is alway one step behind our savior, and doing a good job at what he do in America and the rest of the world.

Man, there was a lot of typos in that one. I’m on my mobile with itty bitty buttons typing. Later…
October 11, 2011 at 3:52 pm
FUNNY!!! HILARIOUS!!! these comments about the SAME topic has been going on for THREE years!!! A white SA said people on here were dumbasses because no one has changed!!! WOW!!! WHAT has to happen for Africans to stop playing victim and support African Americans??? WHAT organization or church or government realizes that whites are SO powerful because they support each other no matter what to win for whites worldwide. We have no honor code. We have no system code. WTF!!! We desrve what we get. Africans and African Americans are mentally stuck in their own mental fesces.
October 11, 2011 at 5:06 pm
so Lagrande D.C. So what that makes you two! You feel two? What god do YOU two pray to. No one likes gettind trated like trash and will fight back and sad to say, lives would be at state. You just proved my point of how heaetless the white race can be. No compassion. No remorese. You’re the dumbass for posting such garbage. You are part of the reason why people in this world can’t unight and become one. I admit, some of these comments are the voices of whiners, yet today and before Obama, I’ve seen and heard more whining out of people like you in the same. You see, you refuse to see. You seek only the weaknesses of blacks and fear to take on the strengths. Cowardness such as what you’ve just displayed will always make people like you shine in darkness. And speakinf of Obama, i hoper he dosn’t win next year, not because he couldn’t fix what took 3O years to get this way-I hope he don’t win because you whites have been sitting in the shadows, whining and treatening to kill his ‘nigger’ ass, as I hear you all say. Yup what a crazy world we live in. A crazy world where we act like devils in the so-called one nation under god. Man, you, I and the rest od this world should be appalled ifmyou believe in heavan and hell or are you the type that would take advantage of ‘your sins are forgiven and forgotten’, and wait til you are near the end of your time to show remorse for a life long quest of destruction?
October 11, 2011 at 6:28 pm
and a buch of typos big deal. I’m on a cell phone, and if got jokes about my sloppy presentation, its best to save them, for you will prove to all of us how right I am about people like you.
October 11, 2011 at 6:33 pm
Hello there . Its me the white South African again.
no just South African.
On an honest note, good luck ladies and gentlemen , i really do want my country to blossom with black culture and for the fighting to stop and to see peaceful unity between African cultures. BUT I WILL NOT LEAVE MY COUNTRY until it is in better hands. Not in the hands of some of the tyrannical people in this forum. You will be denied!!!!!!!!
African Americans feel displaced and as though they are forced around a bullied!! ok , quick statistic , there are +- 46000000 people in South Africa, there are only +- 3000000 white people left here. We dont feel pushed around and beaten down… We have numerous policies against us in the working environment such as BEE(research it) we ACTAULLY have governmental policies against white people and yet we still fight our way in and make a difference and keep on fighting to feed our families… Guys everyone has something to bring to the table no matter who or where you are. BRING IT TO THE TABLE!! whining isnt going to magically bring you to Africa! Quick question do white people in Africa call themselves , American African or British South African or czechoslovakian South African!

KY, I’m thrilled to see that there is at least one sane individual in every race.
October 12, 2011 at 6:11 am
Travis. Your confused! I am AA. I want unity but if Africans are being hoodwinked just like AA in USA. We have black on black crime. We don’t do business enough with each other. SAs and across Africa the same black on black crimes and distrust is going on. It needs to be fixed and it’s more of what we do and have done to each other. Whites aren’t holding us back. We just won’t organize.
October 12, 2011 at 7:01 am
legrande! You’re right! You really did have me fooled! From your presentation, you spoke with racist white tongues. You called the whinners in here dumbasses in here as so how the white man dose in USA. Wow!!! I is clear now. You and that other person who sent you here to spectate are ‘brothers’ in Africa. Okay… Practically all the africans in america I’ve come across are pretty wise. No wonder why you spoke so well with deteriation. Never the less this board is a vision of a fairy tale, where blacks in america dream of a better place for blacks. The truth of all this whining is that is what I said…a fairy tale. I also described my adventures in america and also dream of that one place where i can go only found in my dreams. I also tried to get some of these people to wake up and focus on what is real. You on the other hand was a bit harsh, but a man about it. Frankly your approach is what I try to avoid, because anger solving anger just dont work for me. That include remarks that can get one to rally-up the demons in thier soul. Bottom line, i:
‘m sick of this bull shit the way people treat each other and the voice of reason had died in me a long time ago. Still, I try, but talking to people these day died along with Dr Martin Luther King. I complaint to but moving to Africa is not the answer to the burdon the white man and our own kind has bestow upon us. Thats the mesage I’ve been trying to send to this chapter of this fairy tale.
October 12, 2011 at 11:26 am
again, alot of typos and mis-grammer, but its hard to speak my mind on a cell phone with tiny buttons
October 12, 2011 at 11:34 am
also i keep missing the fact about you(aa) and the white (sa). Look, i’m stuck trying to get us to wake up. There is no heaven on earth until we die…
October 12, 2011 at 11:47 am
This fairy tale site is what it is…Im not speaking with anger but with dire concern. Concern that AA will continue to pass on a washed out mentality to their kids and SA will continue to pass on a washed out mentality to their kids. Jim Crow seems to have won on both continents. Africans are portrayed to us only in the negative and they are portrayed the same, yet, there are fires burning in the pit of many that will change, configure, support and manage the bridge between AA and SA.
October 12, 2011 at 4:09 pm
understood legrande. This board was apearing to be an openned dor to a dream where one have discovered a solution to elude the broken promise land to a place where they think is better for our race. Amereica would bee better for us if we was to stop destrying each other with black on black targeting. The title of this topic and some of these comment seems that some believe going to Africa is our one ticket to freedom from the so-called curse of the whit man. If some of you think SA is a better place, I suggest that you find more material from people with experience who posted thier stories over time or simply go VISIT and see for yourselves. The late Richard ryor went and retured, promising that he will never use the N word again. Chris Rock? Didnt move him at all when he went with Opera…
October 13, 2011 at 6:01 am
Gosh! Are African-Americans welcome in Africa? Everything on this board is so political, and nothing is said about life in Africa from a family point of view.
I have always wanted to visit, but all you hear about is political killing and fighting. Is it safe to visit and if so where would a tourist go.
So many British go to Africa and you hear how they prosper, why would African-Americans be so unwelcome? Very depressing!

elizabeth
you must not of read the delightful tension between ‘egrande. I would visit but the internet post warning about africa like the hyroglipics(spell check) in the ancient tombs of egypt. Its up to you and just to throw this one in, politics and fighting is what this world’s problem, yet, what good is a world with out control. The point of this board is where we find a place where a man can
walk the earth’s soil without another posing a threat, but some think going to africa is a oneway ticket to heaven on earth. Black women or might i say the african women in africa are treated in a way that america WILL not find acceptible here. Like i said, you wisit, but no alone. I wouldnt recommend to reside.
November 7, 2011 at 8:37 am
Travis,
Thanks for the (response) post! I’ll wait to visit as I do not want to visit any country where I spend my time in fear. This is quite unfortunate as most African-Americans look on Africa as their ancestral homeland. It is sad we can’t visit and enjoy the beautiful land.
November 7, 2011 at 5:49 pm
Elizabeth ,
Haha please dont listen to all these nonsense about all of Africa. Yes maybe most of africa is dangerous, but South Africa is an awesome place for the growing “black” man and woman. I am from south africa and i am white. Please actually come here and see how wonderful it is. Obviously we dont go walking around at night on the streets and we dont go to the townships . But thats a given haha. Please , every one on this forum makes promises about coming here but no one ever does. Its rather insulting to the African Americans who trully want to make a difference. Anyways you are welcome to this country . Visit cape town or Durban or johannesburg. Great places , i Live in johannesburg , but its rather unrelaxed here haha and we dont walk around at night
. But you get used to it , i think us South Africans are generally more aware than tourists and dont even notice it anymore
But in all honesty i dont think its much different from most areas in the world(except canada haha) The lifestyle here is fantastic and the weather is beautiful . COME
have an awesome time. Dont go to kenya, Mozambique , Zimbabwe or Somalia . You may be kidnapped , a couple South Africans have already.

dear elizibeth
like i said, likewise to KYs comment. The are countless post about living in s africa. Go there for a visit, but dont reside until you feel comfortable. Like i stated earlier, the late Richard Pryor stated he will never use the ‘n’ word again after visiting s africa. Its as simple as this…forget about what i or KY say in a sense. Do your research. kY comfronted you with refering to some of our comments as nonsense. Thats the bogus attitude you should be cautous with when seeking for guidance of a place whereothers are warning you to take caution. You should know that in the states. kY, just because you as a white man in s america and doing good in a territory where blacks at one time were fools to visit dosnt mean you can negate warning of speak as if warning is blasphemy. My opinion is that you WILL get the same treatment everywhere you go and going to africa or s africa WILL have no exceptions. Forgive me Elizibeth, but i must say, a woman might get less static out of the other gender because you have something all us men want. bottom line, forget KY, forget me and just do your own research as you have begun already by coming her, and plan your way to see where you really want to go.
November 8, 2011 at 3:57 pm
i ment to say s africa in the middle of my comment
November 8, 2011 at 4:00 pm
Travis
I wrote a long statement about racism in this country and bla bla bla. Just come here and see for yourself. If you stay here a little longer than a visit and watch our local news channels , your eyes will be open to things that you were completely ignorent of.
Anyways , i wish African Americans in Africa luck and immense strength in guiding your uneducated sector. Stay strong when you are hated for being educated.
November 9, 2011 at 2:04 am
It is amazing that we Africans regardless of where we were born are fighting with eachother and over what? Land that doesnt belong to any of us. First things first, Native Africans, except that you sold us into slavery. When we come back to Africa, we are coming back home. Generations later, we should be able to accept that our ancestors did us all a disservice. They have seperated brothers and sisters and without eachother we have failed in America and Africa as well. When do we start to dialogue about what is best for us as a collective? Africa is the birthplace of all mankind and until she is fixed, the world will be unbalanced. When the mother is sick, the children are sick. That is where we are as a human race.
December 14, 2011 at 7:49 pm
ZEW, even though your comments are more than a year old, your words are the sorriest representations for an African I have ever read. How can one black person have such a deep hatred for people who ARE from the SAME RACE as you. NO descendant from or on the continent of Africa is different from the other. We are all BLACK!!!! You have HONKEYS, stinking Boers who believe they have a right to be in SA, they claim no one existed there when they landed. YOU have made absolutely NO effort to remove these beasts from the land but bash us for trying to reconnect in the mother land where ever we can. Are you really black or just a honkey boer beast here to spend dissension on this website and among the beings in our race?
January 11, 2012 at 10:20 pm
@Jones. i can answer that question for you… the Zew is not black. he or she is white. pretending to be Afrikan. don’t be fooled.

January 11, 2012 at 11:15 pm
This is the most racist website i have ever seen. If there was a white website doing the same thing. It would be in the Fucking news !! If such racist words are used by africans and african americans alike then why are whites called racist?? WTF. Im copying this whole website and sending it through to national television. Just so everyone can see what goes on in the minds of africans alike? Im sick and tired of being called racist by Blacks!
January 12, 2012 at 1:49 am
@ KY.
yes this is a racist site yes I for one hate white people and have nothing but ill will towards them…so fuck you
January 12, 2012 at 4:44 am
@ Tshiamo
Its because they have more than you ?
lol because they have more than you.
Europeans should have just left africans to their spear throwing ways damnit.
January 12, 2012 at 5:16 am
@KY
this is the issue you murderous parasites cant get for 400 years we have been telling you to fuck-off but like a rash that wont go away you persist…we where happy with our communistic life style, which allowed us to commune with nature in harmony ,the very lifestyle the best of your thinkers where yearning for,you came with your false fucken Jesus and god-the very same Jesus, you villainous bastards, crucified/murdered- you claim to have “more” when all you have are false values whose result is the possible extinction of the human species…if the choice is throwing spears or living with and amongst narcissistic, conniving, hateful and mercantile Europeans whose dirty ways are killing this planet….give me my spear! you bastard!leave us a lone!
January 12, 2012 at 8:11 am
@Tshiamo
To be truly honest. I agree with you. We claim to be so smart but cant see past our own materialistc desires. I apologise. I am not racist. I believe we should all live seperate as nature initially intended. My god has been a reason to cause many hardships for which i am ashamed. Africa is the land of milk and honey and i believe will be the only place to survive when times get tough so i will stick around my birthplace of South Africa for the time being. I understand you hate “White people” but i do not intend to cause discomfort to any culture what so ever.
January 12, 2012 at 8:28 am
Please do not call white people murderous parasites as EVERY race has killed their own kind and others in thousands if not millions. It is a human trait to want more! Even shaka Zulu was a warlord?
January 12, 2012 at 8:30 am
I was so happy to view the video showing African-Americans relocating and setting up companies in South Africa. I believe it is the destiny of the children of former American African slaves to return home.
Most African-Americans never achieve economic success in America due to the color of their skin. Even in 2012, you see the negative comments made against people of dark skin by the current GOP candidates.
I welcome cooperation between black and brown people on both continents…this is long overdue.
January 12, 2012 at 9:34 am
Why are you lot so obsessed with my country? SA has no history of slavery. Dont come here to search for your roots because they arent here. Dont come here to learn about your culture because our culture is not your culture. If you are looking for anything, go back to West and Central Africa. We have no relations with you and unfortunately for you and FORTUNATELY for us you cannot change history.
If you have money to burn take it to your ghettos and feed your abandoned children we dont want it, we dont need anything from you. 90% of your children need food stamps and millions of negroes are on welfare and you want to have us believe that you are investors..!?. Why dont you invest in your own communities in the USA? We dont want you, dont need anything from you and dont need you. We have no relations with you, our forefathers never sold slaves. Instead, slaves were brought to SA from Asia. Get off or backs and leave black SA alone. Go lick Jewish asses like you have been doing to breed your dark skin out. You hate yourselves, you hate being black, you want the next generations of negroes to be biracial or mixed race, and you want us to associate ourselves with that kind of mentality? Why cant you leave black SA alone? We are not going to associate ourselves with people who have no identity, who worship Jews, we are black are proud of our ancestry which we dobnt share with any of you. You were sold by West Africans because they did not WANT, why should we want you when your own people did not and some still do not want you?
You are not our people and we are not your people. You are not descendants of South Africans.
March 1, 2012 at 11:11 am
@Nduna Chinaza
You will never be a South African no matter how hard you alien try to convince your pea size brain that you are or that you are related to us. That pussy ID you are sitting on doesn’t make you a South African, it only gives you access to credit which means you have to leave SA’s money in SA.
@ Biddy
Keep your money in your ghettos we don’t need it in SA. You don’t have what we don’t. If you are investors why are you negroes so dependent on welfare?
Black South Africans have NO history of slavery, none of you are descendants of South Africans. Oprah tried to lie thinking that she can buy us, Oprah is a fat liar and a descendant of a Liberian. Who the hell does she think she is to think she can change and tell us about our history? Who the hell is Oprah? Who asked her to build a school here when negroes are semi literate?. Katrina exposed negroes for what they really are.
@NigeriaAmerica
Don’t worry about whites in SA, your concern should be your burning hell called Nigeria. We black SA do not even like you Nigerians, No one does.
March 1, 2012 at 11:41 am
@CPerry
We black SA did not sell any of you to slavery and want nothing to do with you. We have no relations with either you or West and Central Africans.
You cant force us to accept you.
March 1, 2012 at 11:44 am
ATTENTION: All Afrikans, the above comments are not from a black person.. it is in fact a white supremacist!! posing as a black person on the computer. Don’t be fooled by this trickery.. your poor and sad attempt at getting me to believe that you are black so i’ll hurl bad language and fight with my brother and sister is dumb.. i’m smarter than that. I know what you are. so i can’t and won’t be easily bought in by you. You FUCKING CUR!!!.. Alson learn how to write you dumb ass.
~Zuluking~
March 1, 2012 at 1:43 pm
@ Nduna
Thats the reply that this website responds with whenever their cause is contended. Grow some nuts and fight like a grown up. Their ARE people who dont want you. Accept that. PS plenty people do not want outside help, especially SA. Almost no slaves came from SA. But you choose to pick SA as your ancestry just because it is the better choice. Go somewhere your money can actually help. If you trully believe in what you say, you wouldnt be so adament to come to SA only??
March 2, 2012 at 1:48 am
To those individuals feigning to be South Africans: I say keep your bull shit to yourself. As far as SA not having any slavery, you best read up smartass. There is no nation on this earth that has not undergone some form of enslavement whether at the hands of outsiders or at the hands of neighboring tribes. Dark people of the diaspora…do not… I REPEAT do not become jaded nor tricked by fake ass “Africans” on blog message boards, telling you NOT to come to any particular country. If you choose SA or Ghana or Kenya, or Egypt, or Mozambique, it is your right to come and live there. For any so-called African of dark skin who’d rather be the flunky c*ck sucker of the white man’s prick, I say FIYAH be upon you… you are not worthy to be on any land let alone African land. You NEVER read nor hear of any pale skin, caucasoid/ jew/gentile or otherwise, telling other pale skins NOT to come to any particular land. In fact pale skins do not wait for an invite…they just go. So for those who are legit and have a true, sincere dream to expatriate from western nations or stay in westernized nations, the choice is yours/ours. THIS IS OUR EARTH. REMEMBER THAT! AND F@#$#K those fake ass fools who are probably not African anyway.
Peace

Cont’d.
For the record, I have lived in south Africa. I lived there for 8 years. I have witnessed the same type of racist nonsense that I witnessed in U.S., Canada, Brazil and Argentina. So, what do anti-black, pro-south africans (socalled south africans) have to say to that. Face facts…all AFRICANS the world over, including the arrogant ones in South Africa or elsewhere for that matter have dropped the ball. I do not want to hear nor will I tolerate divide and conquer tactics. For all I know the comments from those supposed black South Africans who are anti-Black American are more than likely Pale Trolls (socalled white) who want to keep south Africa their playground. As the late great Miriam Makeba sang… white man go get your own piece of ground. The world is mine and I have seen much of it. Where I choose to settle is my call. I do not rape, rob, pillage or exploit. Instead I give back and receive as it should be. Regardless of where that is, I live in balance. Let us take our minds and missions offline and just do the damn thing…because it is evident…pale faces have invaded this blog too.
March 2, 2012 at 9:48 am
Halifah,
Thanks for the great post. I have many friends (African-American) who have visited Africa and when they return home, they have only wonderful comments regarding how they were treated by black people in the Motherland.
I hope to visit one day and I’ll keep a positive thought.
Africans, I know living in my town and who attend my church although frendly, they keep separate from African-Americans, would like to know why.
Do you consider us part of you? Also, the real racist and negative comments on this board in my opinion are not the voices of Black Africa.
March 2, 2012 at 3:06 pm
My husband and I just returned to the United States after touring 5 countries in southern Africa which included South Africa, Lesotho, Botswanna, Zimbawe and Swaziland. We loved every minute of being in Africa and plan to return next year. My husband taught in Lesotho during Apartheid in SA in the 70′s. He was overjoyed to return after being away for 39 years. We very much want to spend more time in Africa possibly doing volunteer work in the future. I would urge African Americans who have the time and means to go to SA and any of the surrounding countries to please do so. I have fallen in love with Africa and the people there. I want to go spend more time in the land of my ancestors.
We went to Africa to experience the people and the culture. We didn’t engage in the typical tourist activities. The most enjoyable thing we did was meet and talk with the people. We had a car rental and was able to drive to various places on our own.

@Carolyn,
That is one of the most beautiful comments left on this dialogue here at this blog. I enjoyed the short time I spent in Africa (stayed 3 years first visit) and then 6 months 2nd visit. I hope someone can speak to a very important but also very practical topic and that is of the stringent travel obstacles that Africans in the diaspora have to face when trying to travel to the continent of Africa. Africans in Europe have probably the best (relatively speaking) avenues for travel to and from Africa when compared to the rest of the world, especially USA and Australia and Asia. I noticed that most of the tourists in Africa (South Africa, Lesotho, Ghana, Mali) were caucasian/European. This made me see the disparity in income as well. It is far from cheap traveling to anywhere in Africa from the USA. For example at any given time, if there is a price deal, I can travel to New Zealand, England, France, even South America for far less than a ticket plus VISA (which btw you do not need to go to South Africa from USA) for any African country. This to me is not accidental. I want to find ways around this, yes, even though we as a people do not truly own our own airline companies! I know of couples who had to wait years just to afford a tickets for themselves while they were forced to have to leave their children with relatives. Lets face it, the European-ized world and their economic slave systems make travel a luxury for those who can afford it, while most of our people can only dream, read stories, or watch films about Africa. I know for a fact that it is much worse for our brothers and sisters native to the continent to come here as well. These are the things I endeavor to change because I see no justice in the Eur-asian systems currently in place on this planet.
Peace and Prosperity to my African family
