The Niger Delta crisis just keeps getting worse by the day. Punch newspaper online reports:
Shell Petroleum Development Company, shut down six oil flow stations producing 120,000 barrels of crude oil per day in Delta State.
Findings by our correspondent in SPDC on Wednesday, showed that the company took the action in the aftermath of Saturday’s blowing up of its Trans-Escravos Pipeline by unknown persons in the coastal Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State.
There shouldn’t be any doubt who has gained the upper hand in this conflict.
It’s been months since the Yar’Adua administration revealed a plan to fix the Niger Delta conflict, nothing is yet to unfold.
As crude prices drop internationally and widespread depreciation continue in the stock market, Nigeria is being squeezed further between a rock and a hard place.
“It’s been months since the Yar’Adua administration revealed a plan to fix the Niger Delta conflict, nothing is yet to unfold”.
SO WHAT’S NEW???
OUR LEADERS JUST HAVE LOST THE PLOT AND DONT HAVE A CLUE AS TO HOW BEST TO SOLVE OR RESOLVE THE CRISIS. THE SENATE IS DIVIDED AND DYSFUNCTIONAL IN PARTS, THE HOUSE IS IN TATTERS, AND THE OVERALL HEAD HAS LOST CREDITABILITY. IT’S NOW SO BAD THAT HE IS OPENLY CHALLENGED AND THREATENED WITH LEGAL PROCEEDINGS WHEN HE “OPENS HIS MOUTH” AND HE HASNT BEEN ABLE TO TAKE BACK THE HELM OF AFFAIRS.
POOR NIGERIA, WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE?
MAYBE WE SHOULD OPEN A DEBATE ON OPINIONS AND SUGGESTIONS ON HOW BEST THE NIGER DELTA CRISIS COULD BE TACKLED BY THE NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT.
PEACE

I have visited the site and done the votings. Thank God for categories I know nothing about i am able to put N/A. Go on folks, get voting, for March 16 is just round the corner. I quite like the site and I see where you are coming from Imnakoya about the categories. What I believe is that the organisers sort of focussed more on the Social side of blogging. Hope they take your input on board for next time round.
Regards
