Right! Stop issuing US visas to Nigerians…how myopic!
December 28, 2009 at 10:28 pm
Very myopic indeed. Hope when this stops all acts of terrorism would stop as well lol!!!
One thing that must be noted here is that the fault is more on those who failed to react accordingly to Muttallab’s dad’s warning. They should have looked into this and put him on a “no fly” list. Looking at how he packed the chemicals under his bits and bobs held together by his underpants, airport security would need to have reasons to check him under there. I remember the big hue and cry with the Diana Ross breast touching fiasco at one of the British Airports some years ago.
Anyway now we can all expect to be subjected to all sorts of checks at Airports. We just need to take this with a smile remembering that may lives could be safer with thorough checks.

True! I care less though, just want to arrive in one piece at my destination. Who should worry about that?

Newsy… newsy…. newsy…. Is it even possible that these people are journalists? All they did is string together one rumor and inuendo after another.
Media alarmism is what makes it seemingly sensible to promulgate a policy of using body scanners and patting down every Nigerian who goes through U.S. airports.
